Bembiens first saddle bag. Coined for its origins as a carrier bag on horseback, now an iconic shape that never goes out of style. They gave it a Bembien twist with their oversized knotted weave and braided shoulder strap attached by metal clasps for a more fluid swing.

Yi-Mei Truxes was inspired by nostalgia and style 1970s coastal France. From this Bembien was born. Her search for artisan weavers ended in a small village in Bali where 10% of all Bembien proceeds go back into their local community thru a partnership with the nonprofit Nest.
