Original design by Paige Stewart of Soil + Toil. Wheel-thrown and handmade with a combination of glazed and raw surfaces. Each piece is unique with clean lines and distinctive colors, indicative of her design aesthetic. 

The current glaze, Lichen & Sage, mirrors the landscape of Gunnison County with its high mountain sagebrush and lichen-covered boulders.

Soil + Toil Ceramics was designed and created by Paige Stewart who grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and now based in Colorado. Ceramics is a form of expression and creativity that is so literally and tangibly the act of transformation.
