WHO

Stephanie Intelisano

WHAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT

The work Stephanie makes is deeply inspired by the home chef whose tableware gets used frequently. Porcelain is cast on the heavier side to withstand everyday use around the kitchen. The colors are subtle enough to not distract from the food you are about to eat or that cup of something you’re about to drink. The color palette available is meant to be mixed or matched. It’s really up to you.

WHY WE CARRY THEM

We love how clean and minimal the designs are - paired with the fact that these pieces are very functional for everyday use! The color palette is perfection.

THEIR PROCESS

Stephanie combines two ways of prototyping to create all of her designs. First, she utilizes 3D modeling software to help estimate volume and overall design of each piece. If a vessel, the design is translated to a plaster model using a traditional way of prototyping called plaster turning. This method requires a small manual lathe and some arm strength. The handle forms are printed using an FDM 3D printer and then slip cast. All clay is tinted and mixed by hand in Stephanie's studio.
