Connecting people through style and sustainability.
After years of selling vintage clothing from pop-ups under the name Vintage Salvation, Nicole Trower decided to expand by opening a brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Today, we're proud to share with you our collection of unique vintage and slow fashion clothing, accessories, and home goods for the conscious consumer.

Nicole Trower
Owner/Buyer/Photographer
Growing up on a farm in Iowa has always been a huge source of inspiration and pride for me. My vintage obsession started while studying photography in college. I'm a nostalgia junkie - I love old photos, old clothes, old stories, you name it! Happiness to me is time spent making memories with my closest friends and family.
Lilli Brown
Brand Manager
You'll find me the happiest in the kitchen, being creative or spending time with my loved ones. I have always been a shoot for the stars person & that is where I find inspirtation. I am a sucker for a good pair of vintage levis & a good conversation.

Inventory Manager + In-House Alterationist
I love traveling, coffee, cooking and anything that uses a creative mind. I spend most of my time sewing but love to unwind outside with my dogs. I have always been drawn to Preservation due to the combination of sustainability and quality fashion. Most recently Preservation has been an amazing outlet to grow my passion for designing.
Tori Watts
Visual Merchandiser
Ever since I can remember, I have always loved fashion. Over the past few years, I started to focus on the true importance and meaning behind it. More specifically, how to embrace it the right way. I am so proud to work for a small shop that carries brands who do so much good for the world. Apart from my love for style, I enjoy feeding all my backyard friends, mostly consisting of squirrels. I am the best version of me when I am helping others.
