Our Story

Connecting people through style and sustainability.

After years of selling vintage clothing from pop-ups under the name Vintage Salvation, Nicole Trower decided to expand by opening a brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Today, we're proud to share with you our collection of unique vintage and slow fashion clothing, accessories, and home goods for the conscious consumer.

Our Team

Nicole Trower

Owner/Buyer/Photographer

Growing up on a farm in Iowa has always been a huge source of inspiration and pride for me. My vintage obsession started while studying photography in college. I'm a nostalgia junkie - I love old photos, old clothes, old stories, you name it! Happiness to me is time spent making memories with my closest friends and family.

Sara Johansen

Marketing Manager

I’m a lover of many things, but my favorites are film photography, styling outfits, music and everything Iowa State. I have way too many film cameras and Polaroids, so don’t be surprised if you see me with one. I’m a Midwest girl through and through, but the travel bug is always in me! That said, I’m often happiest at home with a good book.

Connor Grau

Head of REWORKED Production & Technical Design

My lifelong passion has been fashion and design. Outside of design, I enjoy coffee, films, and books, and I definitely appreciate a cozy night in with my cat. I am also heavily inspired by nature and the outdoors.Creatively, I spend a great deal of time sketching, sewing, and developing new concepts. I am particularly interested in surface design and fabric manipulation. Creating and utilizing unique textiles is a fundamental element that inspires me to elevate my design work.

Tori Watts

Visual Merchandiser & Website Manager

Ever since I can remember, I have always loved fashion. Over the past few years, I started to focus on the true importance and meaning behind it. More specifically, how to embrace it the right way. I am so proud to work for a small shop that carries brands who do so much good for the world. Apart from my love for style, I enjoy feeding all my backyard friends, mostly consisting of squirrels. I am the best version of me when I am helping others.
