Levi’s has had an incredible journey. The brand moves forward because denim is a prized possession that gets better with wear, love, and repair. Vintage Levi’s are a special thrift find, and consistent request we hear at Preservation. Lucky for you, we understand! We admire the classic spirit of the Levi’s brand, as well as their commitment to sustainability and quality durability. While we carry vintage Levi’s as well as vintage-inspired modern Levi’s, you’ll be so happy to hear that there’s something else debuting exclusively to the shop (meaning, the ONLY NON-LEVI’S SHOP) straight from Levi Strauss this week:

Levi’s Authorized Vintage

A collection of pre-worn Levi’s denim. The collection includes pieces that are either 100% unaltered or carefully retooled with minimal adjustments by Levi’s own master tailors.

WE LOVE THE STORY OF HOW THIS CAME TO BE:  

A collector who had nearly 65,000 pieces of authentic, made in the U.S.A. Levi’s denim approached the company with pieces that had all been stored and preserved in impeccable condition for over two decades.

Levi’s acquired the entire stock of archive-quality product. It included thousands of classic jeans and Trucker Jackets, along with hundreds of artfully personalized keepsakes, and rare exclusives from Levi’s most collectible collaborations. Like a time capsule, the Levi’s Authorized Vintage stock reveals the evolution of Levi’s, and the powerful ways in which the people who wear the brand’s clothes have made them their own.

One of our guiding principles as a company is a commitment to innovating and investing in long-term sustainable manufacturing practices. Up-cycling (also known as creative re-use) pre-worn jeans reduces waste by reusing a durable resource: denim. Levi’s Authorized Vintage encourages conscious consumption and reinforces the lasting value of Levi’s brand jeans.
