Maison Louis Marie
WHAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT
Marie du Petit Thouars grew up in Belgium, making candles and experimenting with scents in her mother's greenhouse. She was upholding a family legacy that began with the pioneering French botanist Louis Marie Aubert du Petit-Thouars (1758-1831), who discovered thousands of plant specimens while exiled to Madagascar, Reunion, and Mauritius during the French Revolution, and later returned to France with his conquest collection of over 200 plants. Two centuries later, Marie created Maison Louis Marie: a collection of unique floral fragrances for home and body.
WHY WE CARRY THEM
The Preservation team carefully selected Maison Louise Marie products by testing and indulging in the depth and variety of their perfume oil and candle fragrances. Descriptions such as, “This scent is a tropical tuberose accorded with a white lily background and sits on a warm amber sandalwood base” provide the perfect ode to botany science while revealing to us the floral notes we have the pleasure of wearing or lighting as a candle in our homes.
We also love their commitment to clean beauty...
Maison Louis Marie adheres to providing environmentally-mindful products that do not contain toxic ingredients that may pollute the earth or harm one's body by use. There is no testing on animals or utilization of animal-derived ingredients.
Packaging is produced with recycled fiberboard and paper in gift boxes and soy ink.
