WEEK OF FEBRUARY 18

preservation blog sounds so good our week in links A COLLECTION OF LIFE-LATELY-FAVORITES. PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS ON OUR MINDS...AND IN OUR VIRTUAL SHOPPING CART

Look, Mom, I’m wearing color! I have big plans to venture out of my safety zone of white, shell, bone and ivory and embrace sorbet shades this spring. It’s SS18’s most covetable palette — so damn fresh! This seafoam shirt dress from Preservation hits all the right notes. I love the yellow dress too! EEEEK!

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream has reached Hall of Fame status in my skincare arsenal (I just finished my fourth tube). It’s reassuringly thick, never greasy, absorbs brilliantly and quickly soothes dry skin. GET SOME.

Hungry? Me too! This Dark Chocolate Coconut Bar recipe is too good to be true.

There is magic in the moon and stars. If you need help tuning into this higher energy, I recommend you follow Mystic Mamma on Instagram. She shares her cosmic knowledge and offers deep insight into the unseen. Her artwork is incredibly inspiring as well (and for sale).

English Indie-rock band, Friendly Fires. Thanks for the music rec, @alwaysjudging!

No matter what, mascara is part of my beauty routine - even if I only have 20 seconds to get ready. I HAVE to put mascara on! I love the RMS defining mascara. It's so easy to put on, does not flake, and looks good all day!

Always love trying a new body oil, and I really love this one for a good foot massage or sore muscles. (This copal resin-infused oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and is known to aid the healing of skin issues and ease muscle pain.)

Whenever I decide to head to Paris! Hotel Saint-Marc is going to be a MUST STAY.

Cool. Different. Not sticky at all. I want this eye-gloss for a hair slicked back, summer tank, minimal makeup kinda look!

Currently zoning out on youtube to watch this perfect Parisian, Violette, style the coolest of cool makeup trends.

Whenever I'm craving something sweet to drink, I make my own green juice following this recipe. So sweet & good.

Anything coconut scented, like this hair mist, makes it feel like it's not freezing outside for a second.

Any youtube video Rachel Nguyen (@thatschic) posts make me want to get up and do something productive with my life. I’m inspired!

This gel was recommended to me by a sinus specialist while suffering a string of sinus infections last year. I swipe the gel in, out, and under my nose quickly for some serious relief from dryness. The smell is light and pleasant. I recommend this cheap tiny tube for bloody, sneezy, irritated noses 100%. Look in the pharmacy section of your grocery store!

“Yves Saint Laurent” starring Pierre Niney (lovely performance on his part) was something I turned on randomly on Netflix - loved it.
