WHAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT

Adele Tetangco, founder of the e-commerce site Garmentory, and Alnea Farahbella, designer behind the label Toit Volant have launched Tigre et Tigre: Capsule collection-focused apparel and nail polish label. Made ethically in Los Angeles, California, the label gratifyingly reflects that of Adele and Alnea’s styles - effortless, crisp yet comfortable-cool. We’ve admired these ladies for their work, and the confidence they bring in their personal style, and now that of their label that is both structurally strong and soft - just how we like it. 

WHY WE CARRY THEM

At Preservation, we bring in very select apothecary and personal beauty items. We’ve thought about carrying different lines of nail polish, but hadn’t quite found a line that was unique in availability while maintaining style in color palette. When the day came that we were gifted samples of Tigre et Tigre polish, we found what fit the bill. All nail polishes are small batch made, vegan and 10-free*. The neutral colors are silky and perfect in hue. This polish collection is to our hands what our favorite basics are to our wardrobes: personal, ride or die, free of weird stuff, we think (You never know what you left behind in those winter pockets) and will find their way to be more than just ‘everyday’. It’s for everywhere.

*This means that they do not contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates and animal ingredients.
