Deta makes garments versatile and comfortable while giving retro styles a contemporary look. Their swim/daywear easily transitions from inside to swim time. Made out of a fine knit and using no extra elastics the suits don't cut into the skin. They keep their shape in and out of the water and are drying fast.
All of Deta’s pieces are knitted in a family-owned factory in Downtown Los Angeles. The knitting process stands in contrast to how most swimwear is produced, which would be cut-and-sew. They use the exact amount of yarn needed for the piece, with no scraps going into the garbage.
