THIS VINTAGE TEE

This week we're paying homage to the one item that shares the love from generation to generation, home to home, and even ex to ex: The Vintage Tee!

My dad had a small batch of these tee's custom made when he was doing Karate in the late 70s. The artwork was taken from actual photographs of him, complete with his name at the bottom. He must have had some fan club :) I used to sleep in this exact tee when I was a kid and it still smells like the wooden dresser drawer my dad kept it in. This will always be my fave vintage tee. - Nicole

When I was little my dad went on vacation to California. He brought back my mom this tee, and I “borrowed” it from her and never returned it. I’ve completely distressed it throughout all these years. - Gladys

I may have maybe listened to only one Jose Gonzalez song in my life - but this homemade shirt exists from over a decade ago as a gift for my then high school boyfriend. It shrunk after his first wash so I took it back, made it even smaller, and while my iron-on letters are peeling I still wear this tiny band tee. I think this kicked off the start of all the black and white clothing items I have. - Torri
